Brief:

5 Gum was a staple across the UK and USA in the late 2000s but disappeared after being taken off the shelves soon later.

They asked us to relaunch it on TikTok, with the aim to appeal to a younger generation who aligned with the brand's values of thrill, excitement and uniqueness.

Outcome:

Launching a brand that people vaguely remember from childhood meant that nostalgic pop culture heavily inspired what I created.

We kept up to date with trends, viral sounds and produced a mixture of scripted sketches as well as short and snappy videos.

We generated millions of views for the brand and grew to collaborate with influencers.

Role: Creative lead, copywriter, art director, designer and director across the series.
